Can I donate services?

SCARS is a no-kill, refuge for dogs. We are a non-profit, 501(c)(3) Animal Rescue Organization.

We work to provide love, shelter, and veterinary care to abused and abandoned dogs in the eastern Kansas area but our resources are limited.

We rely on the help of others who are willing give money or supplies to aid in our continuing operation.
How can I donate?

Any little bit goes a long ways towards us saving one more dog.
What type of donations do you accept?

We accept both monetary donations and in-kind gifts of goods, services and time.
Is there a tax deduction for donations?

Yes. As a non-profit, 501(c)(3) all contributions with a monetary value may be deducted on your taxes.

How can I volunteer?

Even an hour goes a long way towards keeping up with all that goes on at SCARS.
Can I bring friends to volunteer with me?

Absolutely! We have more than enough work for one person.
